Videos: I Am Winkle Live
Sleepy Boy is an "American Songbook" inspired work with musical twists that reflect on that great genre. The performance features me along with the talented multi-instrumentalist John Mikowychok, and of course the star of the show, my "man's best friend", Itsa (Sleepy Boy himself). The video was featured on Philadelphia's The WHYY House Concert Series and later on New York City’s public TV network WNET. A special thanks goes to Carolyn Asti for shooting the video and Leo Valentino for mixing the audio on the project.
Comments: Great song. Keep writing! ~ Lisa Gray, producer of WHYY House Concert Series. Also, check out the version that the talented duo, Two for Tea recorded of Sleepy Boy at Rosemill Studio here. |
Below are some of the first videos I recorded soon after I began writing pop songs again as I Am Winkle. Some of the arrangements changed when I eventually entered the recording studio, at the request of my dear friend D.W. Fearn. You can click here to hear the studio versions of these songs.
