Sandy Way

I took a stroll down Coffroath Road
And heard "hello" from a passing toad
The Amish children stared at me
How very very strange it all can be

Oh, what a mystical day
As I  drift down Sandy Way
Take the turnabout on Tina Lane
and hear the wind whisper "It might rain...today."

I heard a sparrow give a mournful cry
As the postgirl went floating by
The sun turned blue, the sky turned red
It crossed my mind I was still in bed

Oh, what a mystical day
As I drift down Sandy Way
Take the turnabout on Tina Lane
and hear the wind whisper "It might rain...today."

Oh, how I wish I could stay
And slowly drift down Sandy Way
Take the turnabout on Tina Lane
And hear the wind whisper "It might rain...today."
